ULSTER AMERICAN FOLK PARK

On Friday 16th June we boarded the bus for the long journey to the Folk Park.  Once at the park we had a great day learning about immigration and visiting both Ireland and America!

VOLCANOES

Our topic this term is Volcanoes and we have been learning many facts about the different parts of a volcano, why and how they occur and about the destruction they can cause.  

We created 3D papier mache Volcano Models. Check back soon to see our experiment to make our Volcanoes erupt.

In art we have also enjoyed creating Volcano pictures using tissue paper and watercolour paint.

SPORTS DAY

We had lots of fun competing against eachother on a beautiful sunny morning in May.
