Well done to our netball team, who took part in the ABC Council league finals this week.  The team played brilliantly and certainly did us proud!

 

CORONATION STREET PARTY

We thoroughly enjoyed an outdoor lunch, celebrating the King's Coronation together.

A huge thank you to Mrs Megaw and her team for the lovely lunch.

 

 

CROWN COMPETITION

Congratulations to our Crown Competition winners.  It was so difficult to choose the winners!

A huge thank you to everyone at home, who helped with making the crowns.  You were very busy indeed!!

 

SPECIAL PERFORMANCE ASSEMBLY

28TH APRIL 2023

We had a terrific morning, celebrating musical talent in Bronte!

Well done to all our performers and thank you to Mrs Toal, Mrs Graham and Mrs Logan.

Well done to P7, who had a brilliant Enterprise Day just before the Easter break, raising over £1000!!

The whole school thoroughly enjoyed visiting their stalls and activities.

 

 

We were delighted to receive an Orchards for Schools Pack from the Tree Council, which the ECO Committee planted at the front of the school.

They planted pear, apple and plum trees and we are looking forward to seeing these fruits!!

 

 

A huge thank you to Mr Brendan Kearns who provided and planted native trees, as part of the Queen’s Canopy. We have alder, rowan, birch and cherry trees. P5 enjoyed tying red ribbons on the trees, to remind everyone where they have been planted.

 

P5 and P6 had great fun learning about food and fitness, with Molly from the Dairy Council.

 

A huge thank you to everyone who donated items for The Well Food Bank in Rathfriland.  Your kindness is greatly appreciated.

 

We had brilliant fun at our Christmas Parties and had a very special visitor!!

P4 -P7  told the story of Silent Night at our Christmas Concert

 

P1 -P3 performed "A Little Bird Told Me" at our Christmas Concert

 

Our choir sang at Tesco in Banbridge and at the Boulevard and also at Loughbrickland Community Group

 

P4, P5, P6 & P7 Went to see the Cinderella Pantomime at the Grand Opera House, Belfast

 

We had a great time on our Christmas Treat Day. 

A huge thank you to Mrs Megaw and her team for wonderful food.

 

Everyone took part in the Santa Daily Mile and then we were really ready for our dinner!

A huge thank you to Mr Brendan Kearns, who along with Liam and Gary planted some native trees at school on Friday 25th November.

We have been thinking about all the ways we can be kind, in the classroom and outside.

Congratulations to the prizewinners in our Kindness Colouring Competition!

 

 

 

We collected 80 shoe boxes for the Blythswood Shoe Box Appeal. 

A huge thank you to everyone who sent in a shoe box or money for the appeal!

 

 

 

P4 treated us to a lovely assembly about autumn and taught us a song of thanksgiving.

 

Congratulations to our competition winners!

It was really hard to choose the winners from all the lovely bookmarks that the children made.
